Diagnosis Procedure
NOTE: To identify combination meter type, refer to MWI "Information" or MWI "Information".
1.CHECK SEAT BELT WARNING LAMP
1. Turn ignition switch ON.
2. Check operation of seat belt warning lamp in combination meter.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> Replace combination meter. Refer to MWI "Removal and Installation" (TYPE A) or MWI "Removal and Installation" (TYPE B).
NO >> GO TO 2.
2.CHECK SEAT BELT BUCKLE SWITCH (LH) SIGNAL CIRCUIT
Perform check for seat belt buckle switch (LH) signal circuit. Refer to WCS "TYPE A : Diagnosis Procedure" (TYPE A) or WCS "TYPE B : Diagnosis Procedure" (TYPE B).
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> GO TO 3.
NO >> Repair harness or connector.
3.CHECK SEAT BELT BUCKLE SWITCH (LH)
Perform check for seat belt buckle switch (LH). Refer to WCS "TYPE A : Component Inspection" (TYPE A) or WCS "TYPE B : Component Inspection" (TYPE B).
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> Replace combination meter. Refer to MWI "Removal and Installation" (TYPE A) or MWI "Removal and Installation" (TYPE B).
NO >> Replace seat belt buckle (LH). Refer to SB"SEAT BELT BUCKLE : Removal and Installation".
