CENTER PILLAR UPPER FINISHER : Removal and Installation

REMOVAL

  1. Remove front shoulder anchor. Refer to SB "SEAT BELT RETRACTOR : Removal and Installation".
  2. Remove front body side welt and rear body side welt. Refer to INT "BODY SIDE WELT : Removal and Installation".
  3. Release center pillar upper finisher upper pawl using a suitable tool as shown.

WARNING: Do not reuse center pillar upper finisher if removed.

CAUTION: When releasing molded in pawls, follow the steps as shown to prevent finisher or clip damage.

REMOVAL

    4.   Release center pillar upper finisher lower pawl using a suitable tool (A) and remove center pillar upper finisher.

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION: When installing center pillar upper finisher, make sure that pawls and are securely pressed into the body panel holes.
