Removal and Installation
CAUTION: Perform ADDITIONAL SERVICE WHEN REPLACING ECM. Refer to EC-122, "Work Procedure".
REMOVAL
- Remove battery. Refer to PG, "Removal and Installation".
- Remove IPDM E/R. Refer to PCS, "Removal and Installation" (WITH I-KEY) or PCS, "Removal and Installation" (WITHOUT I-KEY).
- Remove IPDM E/R cover (1).
A : mounting nut
B : mounting bolts
- Disconnect ECM harness connectors.
- Remove ECM mounting nuts.
- Remove ECM from ECM bracket.
INSTALLATION
Install in the reverse order of removal.

1.INSPECT BCM CONNECTOR
Turn ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect BCM connectors.
Check terminals for damage or loose connections.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> GO TO 2.
NO >> Repair or replace damaged parts.
