Start the engine.
Shift selector lever.
Check that the selector lever position and the shift position indicator
on the combination meter are identical.

REMOVAL
1. Remove hood lock assembly bolts and hood lock assembly.
2. Disconnect hood lock control cable assembly (2) from hood lock
assembly (1).
INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
